We started off the Easter celebrating with a little egg dying.
On Saturday, we took Grandma down to the Stockyards to enjoy some steers and a little Easter egg hunt. It was pure craziness! Next year, we will be finding another Easter egg hunt as this one was very unorganized and extremely crowded, but at least Aida enjoyed herself!
Waiting & waiting some more for the egg hunt to finally begin!
After spending the rest of the day at the Stockyards, we headed home to get some sleep and wake up for the Easter Bunny. Every morning when Aida gets up, she is ready to pick out a princess dress and put it on for the morning before she has to get dressed for the day...Easter was no different. So Barbie dress on, plyns & pink pony in hand, we head outside to look for her eggs.
After finding all of her eggs we headed inside to help her find her basket and present that the Easter bunny left for her.
Easter morning breakfast consisted of pancake in the shape of Easter bunnies, eggs and flowers!
After breakfast we had to take a little time for daddy too, since his birthday fell on Easter this year. Aida helped pick out his present and was very excited to give it to him. Oakley wanted to help a little too.
Once everyone ate and daddy went for his run, we got ready to head off to church. After church we had a nice little lunch and played the rest of the afternoon until we had to take Grandma to the airport. We even had a nice family game of Candy Land.
After dropping Grandma off at the airport, we went out to dinner to celebrate daddy's birthday!
