Aida took her first steps by herself last night, and Jamie and I could not have been prouder! You would have thought she just graduated from high school the way we were cheering, but hey this is a huge step :)! During the day she had been practicing standing up on her own without holding on to anything. When Jamie got home he set her on the floor to see what she would do, and she stood up and took 6 steps towards me! She was too funny...if Jamie was holding her she would walk to me, but if I tried to turn her around and have her walk back to him she would get so excited that her feet couldn't move fast enough to get to him and she would fall. And of course, by the time we pulled the camera out she was about done showing us how she could walk, so we only caught a few of her first steps on video, but it's pretty cute anyways!
