So, first day of school came and I am so proud of what a big girl she was kissing us goodbye and walking into her classroom without even a tear shed. Mommy was even able to hold them back until we walked away from her classroom and than the tears rolled (and rolled, most of the morning).
Class is from 9-2, which is a very long day for a 3-year old (and her mommy). They do not even take naps; they are busy all day. She has adjusted pretty well though to the schedule, napping on her off days and going to bed very early on school days. She doesn't eat much of her lunch, but we are slowly learning what she eats better than not.
Poor little girl had to miss her second day of school. She got a stomach bug and was sick all night, so no school for her. But, we made it both days this week and she seemed to love it! She is such a big girl...I would be okay with time slowing down even just a little!
Daddy & Aida reading "Llama llama, Misses Mama" before school.
Ready to go!
Thanks daddy for coming with us to drop her off for the first time!
Miss Jennifer & Miss Tosya (and a very nervous Aida)
To surprise her for being such a big girl at school, mommy & daddy got her a book and little giraffe that was waiting in her carseat when she got out of school.
The first afternoon after school, mommy & Aida were so exhausted (probably more mentally) so we had a wonderful nap in mommy & daddy's bed. It was so great to lay there and talk to her about her first day and then snuggle up and go to sleep! You may notice that she has no clothes on, well that would be correct. When we got into bed she said "I want to sleep like daddy; in just my underpants", so off the clothes came. I love sleeping babies!
