Fun times with Aunt Paula in Texas

Back at the end of April, Aunt Paula came for a short visit to Texas and we had some fun times as usual! Aida & Aunt Paula spent lots of time playing dress-up, princesses, lots of make believe, and all out just having a crazy, fun time. We also took Aida to get her nails done, just like a big girl!

We took Aida putt-putt golfing and it was a big hit! She actually even beat us all, with only a little help from daddy. She was a little upset that she was not tall enough (by 1/2 inch) to ride the bumper boats or any of the other rides, so we let her play some arcade games afterwards. She won lots of tickets and was very excited to trade them in for a few small prizes.

While Aunt Paula is around, you never quite know what Aida will try and get away with. Like standing on the coffee table along with her princesses!
The Southlake festival was going on over the weekend, so we partook in some of the festivities. After jumping in the bouncy houses, Aida noticed lots of little kids with their faces painted, so we had her done. For a little girl who never sits still, she sat very still while they did the painting.
She also saw the big kids jumping on trampolines and just had to do it too. She truly was not big enough, but they said she only had to be over 25 lbs, so off she went. They hooked her up, but she was too small to really jump...they kept pulling her straps, so that it would bounce her. Upon getting off, she said "But, I wanted to do a flip!". That is our adventurous little one.
